Ramon Romero, Jr. was born in Fort Worth, Texas. His parents immigrated to the United States in the 1960’s from the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. Representative Ramon started his first of several businesses in his early twenties and later came to own several companies in the Fort Worth area. He has served on several commissions for the city of Forth and was elected as the representative for District 90 in the Texas State House of Representatives in 2015. He was the first Hispanic State Representative in Tarrant County’s history. He was awarded the Democratic Freshman of the Year achievement in 2015.
