Buster Welch was born near Sterling City, Texas, and began working on ranches at the age of 14, growing up to be one of the horse industry’s most successful horseman and trainers. Buster trained horses for some of the country’s greatest ranches, including 6666 Ranch, Long X Ranch, Pitchfork Ranch and King Ranches. He is a four-time National Cutting Horse Association World Champion and a five-time National Cutting Horse Association Futurity Champion. Buster Welch is one of the most celebrated horsemen and cattlemen of the 20th Century.
